A Tbilisi and Batumi circuit covering Tbilisi's Old Town and viewpoints, a Kakheti wine-region day trip to Sighnaghi and Winery Khareba, Martvili Canyon en route to the coast, and a full Batumi city and Botanical Garden tour.
Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport and clear immigration. Meet your driver at the arrivals hall for a private transfer to your Tbilisi hotel. Check in, with the rest of the day free for leisure.
Meet your English-speaking driver after breakfast for a full day of Tbilisi sightseeing: Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba), one of the largest churches in the world; Metekhi Church followed by a cable car ride to Narikala Fortress for panoramic views over Old and New Tbilisi; a walk through Rike Park and across the Bridge of Peace; the Abanotubani sulphur bath district and Old Tbilisi's streets, markets and cafés; and a drive past Freedom Square and along Rustaveli Avenue, the city's main boulevard.
A full-day excursion to Kakheti, Georgia's wine region. Visit Sighnaghi, known as the "City of Love" for its cobblestone streets, colourful houses and views over the Alazani Valley and Caucasus foothills, including its historic town wall and watchtowers. Continue to Winery Khareba, home to a wine cellar built into a tunnel carved through the mountainside, with a guided look at traditional Georgian winemaking and an optional tasting. Return to Tbilisi by evening.
Check out and begin the drive toward Batumi (approximately 6-7 hours), breaking the journey with a stop at Martvili Canyon — known for its turquoise water, walkways past waterfalls and rock formations, and an optional short boat ride along the canyon. Continue the scenic drive through Georgia's countryside to Batumi, the country's Black Sea coastal city. Check in, with the evening free for leisure.
A full day covering Batumi's highlights: the seafront Batumi Boulevard, the Alphabet Tower (built to celebrate the Georgian script), the Ali and Nino moving statue, Europe Square and Piazza Square, with photo stops at Batumi's seaport and beach. In the afternoon, head to Batumi Botanical Garden (roughly 30 minutes away), one of the region's largest, with walking paths through exotic plant collections and sweeping Black Sea views.
Check out from your Batumi hotel and transfer to Tbilisi Airport for your onward journey. Confirm your specific routing and drop-off point with our team at the time of booking.
